What does the weight of photo paper mean and what weight to choose?
The weight of photo paper is the most important parameter that determines the quality of photos and their durability; it means literally the weight of one suare meter of paper. The higher the weight is, the stiffer paper you get. The most popular photo paper weight is 110 to 260 gsm. When choosing photo paper for photos, e.g. for a family album, it is best to choose a paper weight above 200 gsm. Yellow One offers photo papers from 130 to 260 gsm.
Laser or inkjet printing?
We marked out photo papers for inkjet and laser printers. In inkjet printing, the ink dries immediately after contact with the surface to avoid smudging of the ink during printing. Photo papers for inkjet printing are popular among photographers.
